Aleksi Grym wrote a thoughtful critique of Libra and stablecoins in general. He puts out a specific set of criticism against stablecoins as redundant and argues that there are no real use cases for stablecoins. I respectfully disagree with his line of reasoning. 1)Libra coin is somewhat stablecoinish and cryptocoinish, but it is not really either a stablecoin or a cryptocurrency. It is more akin to “virtual currency,” but it isn’t really a cryptocurrency per se. Read more about the Libra Protocol.
