GS planning to leverage Marcus in building a new digital wealth management tool

Goldman Sach’s COO John Waldron told at an industry event in New York on Friday, May 31, that the bank is now building a new digital wealth management tool on Marcus to attract more Main Street clients, per Reuters. 1)More on Marcus, read Omar Ismail’s, head of U.S. consumer business at Goldman Sachs, interview published in StarTribune.

Mr. Waldron said the following during the event:

“We are developing a digitally empowered mass affluent capability, that will leverage our Marcus platform and customer base. – – We envision an advisor-led and digitally empowered offering tailored to clients across the spectrum of wealth.”
